Upcoming Website...www.FormosaFotos.com

Long ass day today. School then work then a meeting til 1130. Man I'm DONE!!! Well I'm finally gonna put a website together with the help of an old high school buddy, Spencer Tai. The URL in the end will be www.FormosaFotos.com if it is still available when i go to buy it. It will be a blogger style site with a smugmug account. That is the cheapest way to go since im going to start with the basic account. If I need more out of smugmug I can always upgade later. Im planing on keeping this blog separate from the website since it will be mainly for industry use, photoshoots and an online portfolio (possibly). I may use FlickR for that instead. If anyone has any suggestions for me...they are much appreciated!!! just comment at the end of the blog with them ( i made it so anyone can comment :P)!!!

Zen Bistro in Millbrae

About a week ago Claud was given a $20 gift certificate to a place we had never tried before, Zen Bistro. Located on Broadway in Millbrae its a fairly fancy sushi restaurant with EXCELLENT food. There is nothing bad to say about this place at all. The food was fantastic and the service was deffinetly above par. Even though the cost was about $10~$15 a plate on average, it was worth every penny. The endlessly changing lighting and new wave music made for a tranquil setting that was mezmerizing. I sure they do it on purpose so we eat more!!! haha. Overall, if you havent tried this place make sure you do. =)

The food LOOKS as good as it tastes too!!! enjoy!!

RIP Daisuke Kaneko

RIP brother. Its a shame that such things are taken from people so young. God must have better plans for a young man as honorable as yourself. Even though I did not know you for a long time it was easy to see the fantastic personality that made you who you were. You will forever be missed by many including myself. So what ever it is God had in store for you, I pray that you have moved onto a place much bigger and more meaningful than this. I pray for a peaceful paradise for you. Will meet agian another day brother. Good bye for now.

Relaxing on Sunday

Today was a pretty fulfilled Sunday. I ate Pho with TK for lunch in San Mateo where she was supposed to meet Claud, but it seems that every time they're supposed to meet something ALWAYS comes up. haha, Owell, next time. I got some pix of my favorite little poochy, Swisher, after lunch. While i was waiting for Claud to get ready I snapped some pix of the flowers around her area. Only purple ones because my camera doesnt like that color for some reason.....-___- We saw "Race to Whitch Mountain" that was a really goood movie. I reccomend everyone to see it and now I'm currently watching Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. It's also a pretty good flick so hit it up!! haha well enjoy the pix :)

A Fine and Dandy Weekend

Well this last weekend has been pretty eventful. I saw watchmen on Friday night which totally sucked in my opinion. Then on Saturday night I worked at Sutra shooting a Nightlife Entertainment event for a few bucks. The club owner is pretty chill and so are the bartenders and other employees. On Sunday Claud and I attempted to hit up the remodeled Academy of Sciences but we lagged too much and at 4 o'clock they still wanted to charge us 20 bucks!!! So we went to the DeYoung meuseum instead because its FREEEE after 4:30. On tuesday I spent some time in the darkroom printing some photos I took on our journy through Hippy Hill to get to the DeYoung museum. Speaking of which, some hippy bum chick started tailing us and pulling out a knife when she saw my film camera with the 70-200mm L lens mounted to it.....=\......a little scary but there was a crowd of people walking by that we V lined for. Once we were in the crowd that chick and her two friends backed off and dissapeared. PHEW!!!! haha

After I finished in the darkroom I packed up and headed for Davis for the night. When I got there I stopped by University Honda to discuss potential employment in the Fall when I mostlikely transfer to UCD. In davis I killed a wasp flying around in Clauds room by spraying it with deoderant or Febreez or something!!! LOL poor lil guy.

This morning I drove home for work where i had a nice little 04 civic sitting in my stall waiting for the tranny to be ripped outta it..... -_____- not exactly what i expected to do today but it was fun for the most part. After work my supper sweet buddy Teresa K. and I hit up som Pho in Westlake and then bought lil Swisher some food cuz he was hungry and whining......big time FAIL TK!!!! So thanks for the pho homegirl!!! t'was FUNNN as always!! :D

So today was filled with more messed up weather. It was raining and hailing on and off all day which made for some pretty wet clothing walking to and from school...=\ Speaking of school. I now remember why I am not a biology major or anything silly like that. I kinna hate bio. Every class i just wanna shoot myself in the head if I gotta hear about one more different type of cell. I DEFINITELY relate more to a physicist than a biologist. Anyway today was my day off and between last night and this afternoon I got around to editing Teresa's photos....Enjoy!!! (p.s. SWISHER is so cute!!! bahahaha)

Snowboard Trip #5

So today's weather has been pretty shitty.....rainy, gloomy and windy. =\ Anyway I've been super backed up on photos since I've been shooting much more now that i have to go shoot film for school. I've still got the same if not more work flow of clubs coming through as well. I finally got around to sorting and marking the photos from our snowboard trip a couple weeks ago. That's all for now folks there are much more photos to come!!! :D
